SchoolConnect Ed, a Rabat-based EdTech company, wanted to revolutionize communication between schools and parents in Morocco. Schools were still using paper notebooks, unofficial WhatsApp groups, and phone calls to communicate with families, leading to significant information loss and lack of academic follow-up. Parents complained about not being informed in real time about their children's grades, absences, and activities. Furthermore, schools' administrative management – schedules, cafeteria, school transport – desperately lacked digitization, generating inefficiencies and significant paper costs.
We developed a complete ecosystem including a mobile app for parents and teachers, along with a web administration portal for schools. The parent app allows real-time grade viewing, schedule tracking, absence and tardiness notifications, and direct communication with teachers through secure messaging. An integrated payment module manages cafeteria and transport fees. The GPS bus tracking system reassures parents with live tracking and arrival alerts. The web portal gives principals centralized management with analytical dashboards, automatic report card generation, and simplified schedule management.
